Geologist - Junior, Project and Senior (Mining and Exploration) (Perth)

Galt Mining Solutions is a growing multi-disciplinary consultancy group seeking geologists to take ownership of ongoing exploration and mining campaigns whilst gaining exposure to the full gamut of project development with public and private companies.

This unique role is suited to self-starting and autonomous individuals who are passionate about geoscience and will thrive in an environment that fosters ongoing professional development.

Tasks & responsibilities

- Drill program preparation, execution, logging, and interpretation of results

- Geological mapping, sampling, and modelling

- Coordination of field personnel and contractors as required

- Liaison with regulatory bodies and other applicable third parties

- Exploration target generation

- Assist with asset evaluation and due diligence

- Production of reports, plans, and presentations for company announcements

The successful candidate will possess;

Multiple roles on offer, including: Exploration Geologist, Mine Geologist, Project Geologist, and Senior Geologist

Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Geology





- 2-10 years of experience in exploration

- Exposure to open pit and underground mining

- Proficiency with Vulcan, QGIS, Leapfrog, Surpac and Micromine

- Experience with 3D modelling software and development of geological models

- Self-sufficiency and a solution-based approach to problem-solving

- A valid manual driver's license (essential)

- Strong computing and software literacy (Google Workspace, QGIS, ioGAS, AI platforms)

- Commercial acumen
