The Opportunity
We have a rare and exciting opportunity for an experienced and passionate SAP BTP Integration Developer to join the team! You will be responsible for the overall architecture of the Cloud Integration Suite, along with working on administration and development of integrations or extensions with SAP S/4 HANA, SAP Business Technology Platform and other various systems.
The role will require a hands-on approach, as you will be working with various members across the business, utilising some basic analyst capabilities to ensure deliverables can be met.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Defining and delivering the Integration Technology aspects of the products, including timely production in design and documentation.
- Deliver a continuous improvement program for the integration environment that meets the organisation's evolving needs.
- Consulting with business counterparts to develop inbound and outbound iFlows for S/4HANA cloud and other cloud instances of SAP products.
- Continual enhancements and further expansion of integrated systems via development, using a mixture of standard API or those customised via SAP Integration Suite,
for both SAP and Non-SAP products.
- Carry out monitoring of the SAP BTP/ CPI environment, for messaging and data integrity.
- Onboard/Support new SAP BTP services (e.g. Event Mesh, mobile services integrating with SAP).
- BTP sub account administration - creating instances, OAUTH authentication service keys, assigning user roles etc.
- Incident resolution both internally or liaising with external vendors.
- Maintain objects in test and production systems, including doing certificate updates and making changes as per SAP’s guidelines of biannual updates.
- Liaise with external vendors development/functional team for project work.
What you'll need to succeed:
Qualifications:
- 6+ years’ experience in software development.
- 3 years’ experience SAP Cloud PIatform Integration (CPI) building custom iFlow & extensions for standard iFlows, mapping techniques (graphical, Java & XSLT), connector configuration, custom rule development, workflow configuration and development using various CPI Adapters and protocols HTTP, SOAP, ODATA, AS2, AMQP, JMS, IDOC, pallete functions, coding in groovy script, java script.
- 2 years’ experience with SAP Business Technology Platform, including admin experience for onboarding new products and services, maintaining role collection.
- Working with complex integrations for hybrid cloud scenarios,
SAP to Non-SAP and Non-SAP to Non-SAP integration based on API’s.
- S/4 HANA cloud experience including configuring communication arrangements, communication system, user, certificate updates.
Preferred Skills:
- Cloud Application Programming and NodeJS.
- SAP Web IDE, Business Application Studio.
- Knowledge on Model View Controller framework .
- Familiar with API driven architecture and development.
- Knowledge of all the CPI adapters – IDOC/SOAP/HTTP/AS2/JMS/ AMQP etc.
- Knowledge of B2B integration and usage of pre-packaged content.
- Knowledge of integration with Salesforce, HR systems.
- Knowledge of Event Mesh, BTP services.
- Knowledge in SAPUI5 and FIORI apps extension/configuration.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Willing to learn and develop.
