The Dam Hotel is searching for an experienced and dynamic Head Chef to lead our high-performing kitchen team. As one of the region’s busiest venues, we pride ourselves on delivering quality, consistency, and exceptional pub-dining experiences.

What we’re looking for

We need a hands-on, highly organised Head Chef who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. The successful candidate will have:

✅ Proven experience running a kitchen delivering 300+ covers per service

✅ Strong leadership skills with the ability to train, motivate, and develop staff

✅ Exceptional organisational and time-management abilities

✅ Experience with menu development, cost control, ordering, and rostering

✅ A passion for fresh, high-quality pub and bistro-style food

✅ Strong understanding of food safety, compliance,



and kitchen standards
