Position: Secondary Teacher (Maths and Science)
Commencing Date: Negotiable
Tenure: Full Time, Fixed Term Contract
Salary Range: $86,600 to $124,725 per annum pending experience
Closing Date: Monday, 15 December 2025 unless filled prior

St Catherine's Catholic College, The Whitsundays is a Prep to Year 12 co-educational college, established by the Sisters of Mercy in 1925. About the role

St Catherine's Catholic College, The Whitsundays is seeking an experienced Secondary teacher (Maths and Science) to commence as soon as practical. Experience in Psychology would be advantageous. This is a full time, permanent teaching role commencing 19 January 2026.

Mandatory Criteria





- Appropriate Tertiary qualification with registration or eligibility for registration with Queensland College of Teachers
- Current Driver’s Licence
- Ability to travel from time to time within the Catholic Diocese of Townsville
- Ability to perform the physical requirements of the role in a safe manner.
