About the Opportunity
Reporting to the Area Manager, this role is crucial for ensuring the smooth execution and successful delivery of complex civil projects across the region.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Project Coordination: Effective and efficient coordination of internal and external human resources, plant, and materials needed to deliver projects in line with schedules.
- Performance Management: Review forecasting, KPIs (Key Performance Indicators), and programming for each project; identify issues early to rectify/address as required.
- Quality Control: Ensure all projects adopt a ‘right first time, every time’ approach to minimise rework, cost, and delays.
- Safety & Compliance: Ensure all workers adhere to all health, safety, and environment policies and procedures. Participate in internal and external audits and ensure all close outs are actioned.
- Stakeholder Liaison:
Work closely with the engineering team, area managers, and subcontractors as needed to ensure completed works meet the required specifications.
- Support Functions: Work with internal support teams to manage workforce activities such as recruitment, performance management, and training needs.
- Reporting: Complete monthly reporting on set requirements for sites within the region.

Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum of 5 years' Site Supervision experience in civil construction delivering multiple stages and/or complex projects.
- Extensive residential and industrial subdivision works experience.
- Extensive knowledge of health, safety, and environment processes and systems.
- Effective leadership skills—able to lead, motivate, and develop people.
- Excellent planning and organisational skills.
- Professional communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Focus on delivering high quality projects ‘right first time, every time’.
- A focus on working with productivity targets, including budget and quality.
- Exposure to MRPV (Major Road Projects Victoria) projects is a plus.
