What would I be doing?

You will play a crucial role in expanding our network of employer partners and driving employment outcomes for people with disabilities across the Logan area. Your responsibilities would fall into these 3 categories:

Business Development and Partnerships

- Proactively source and develop new business opportunities through networking, cold calling, and other prospecting techniques.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with employers, understanding their specific hiring needs and providing tailored recruitment solutions.
- Negotiate wage subsidy agreements with employers.

Client Engagement and Support

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing tailored support to help them achieve their career goals.
- Assist clients in transitioning into stable employment, collaborating with the Client Coordinator and Support Officer.
- Communicate employment opportunities to local employment services staff and job-seeking clients.

Employer Engagement

- Develop, document, and implement effective strategies to generate employment opportunities for clients.
- Identify and present innovative marketing ideas and concepts to attract new employers and increase employment opportunities.
- Maintain extensive knowledge of the current labour market conditions and vacancy requirements.

Selection Criteria includes:

- Demonstrated experience in a similar role working with people with disabilities.




- Ability to negotiate with key stakeholders and provide positive solutions to complex problems.
- Demonstrated experience in sales and marketing, and experience and/or ability in the Disability Employment Service industry or similar field.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills coupled with the ability to effectively liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including collaborating with work colleagues to achieve KPIs
- Highly effective communication, networking and rapport building skills
- 'Can do' attitude and ability to thrive in a dynamic fun environment!
- Ability to build key partnerships with businesses in the local community.
- A valid C class driving license.
- Blue card and NDIS Worker Screening Clearance to start (we can help).
