About the Role

As a Lifestyle Leader you will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering the lifestyle program. Creating enjoyable, meaningful, and person-centred experiences for residents in our Aged Care facility in Maryborough.

Working closely with the care staff, you’ll support residents to stay socially connected, engaged in daily routines, and involved in activities that enhance their emotional, physical, and cognitive wellbeing. You will also contribute to maintaining quality standards and ensuring accurate documentation of activities and resident participation.

Main Duties

- Support the planning and delivery of individual and group lifestyle activities
- Encourage resident participation in social, recreational, creative, and wellness programs
- Maintain lifestyle plans, activity notes, and attendance records
- Promote a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment within the facility
- Build positive relationships and contribute ideas to enhance programs and resident quality of life

Skills & Requirements

- Experience in aged care, community, lifestyle, or support roles
- Understanding of resident wellbeing and lifestyle programs within aged care
- Robust communication, teamwork, and relationship-building skills
- Creative, organised, and enthusiastic approach to activities
- Certificate III in Individual Support or Certificate IV in Leisure & Health (desirable but not essential)
