Home Care Support Worker - Western Region (Melbourne)

As a Home Care Support Worker in the western region of Melbourne, you will be responsible for bringing promises to life for clients. You do this by providing personal care that supports each client to achieve their cultural, emotional, physical, social, and spiritual goals during personal care and daily living activities.

Our client is an extremely well regarded non-profit aged and community care provider, delivering a broad range of accommodation and support services to people who have served.

- Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support or Disability.
- Current First Aid and CPR certificate.
- Reliable and registered Vehicle and current comprehensive car insurance.
- Current, full driver’s license (not P or L plates) and the ability and willingness to drive to and from client’s homes.
- Satisfactory completion of a National Police Records Check.




- Proven effective communication skills with a compassionate and empathetic approach to work.
- Ability to utilise an electronic documentation system and undertake documentation.
- Work co-operatively as part of a team and follow instructions from appropriate supervisor.
- Effectively manage time and organise workload.
- Ability to understand and comply with legislation, regulations and organisational procedures.
