Civil Supervisor (Brisbane)

Workfast are currently seeking an experienced Site Supervisor for immediate start across the Gold Coast and Brisbane regions. This is a long-term, ongoing role with a permanent position on offer.

- $170k + Super
- Company Car + Phone + Laptop
- All SEQ sites

Most of the work will be based around the Gold Coast and Brisbane, with occasional projects in Toowoomba and the Sunshine Coast. This role will not be fixed to a single site you will be required to move between multiple Tier 1 projects, overseeing day-to-day operations and supporting project teams.
You will work closely with Project Managers and be responsible for supervising and coordinating all on-site activities, ensuring safety, environmental and quality standards are met, and that projects stay on schedule and within budget.

The Role:

- Supervising and coordinating crews including foremen, leading hands, plant operators and subcontractors
- Overseeing daily site operations across multiple job sites
- Managing demolition, remediation, bulk excavation and civil works
- Running toolbox talks, pre-starts and site inductions




- Ensuring SWMS and risk assessments are completed and adhered to
- Maintaining site documentation, diaries, permits and reports
- Liaising with clients, councils, suppliers and internal project teams
- Conducting inspections, quality checks and performance reviews
- Supporting and promoting WHS compliance and a strong safety culture
- Managing deliveries, materials, and raising purchase orders

The Requirements:

- Demonstrated experience supervising teams in Demo / Remediation / Bulk Excavation / Civil Works
- Experience overseeing crews of foremen and leading hands
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Site Supervisor or similar leadership role
- White Card
- Solid leadership, communication and organisational skills
- Ability to manage multiple sites and competing priorities
- High attention to safety, environmental and quality standards
- Ability to read and interpret plans and project schedules
- Valid Driver’s Licence
