LodgeX Legal is seeking an experienced Mortgage/Property Solicitor to join our award-winning Melbourne team. This is an exciting prospect to step into a role with genuine impact, working at the forefront of e-conveyancing and digital settlement innovation.

As Australia’s premier electronic settlement agency, we deliver national mortgage and property transaction services through our proprietary platform Lapp. Our team partners with leading financial institutions, law firms and conveyancers, providing streamlined, technology-driven solutions that set the industry benchmark.

About the Role

You will manage high-volume, multi-jurisdictional mortgage and security transactions, ensuring accuracy, compliance and exceptional client service. You will also contribute to ongoing improvements in digital workflows and settlement processes through Lapp.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage and process mortgage and security transactions from instruction to settlement

- Prepare and lodge multi-jurisdictional mortgages and caveats

- Deliver exceptional communication to clients, lenders and stakeholders

- Work efficiently within our proprietary workflow and settlement platform, Lapp





- Ensure compliance with all legislative and regulatory requirements

About You

We are seeking a high-performing solicitor with:

- Experience in mortgage processing, banking & finance, or a reputable property law team

- Strong proficiency in PEXA, including management of settlement workspaces

- A solid understanding of end-to-end mortgage processes (Vic essential; interstate desirable)

- Excellent attention to detail, accuracy and professional judgement

- Strong communication and organisational skills

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively

- Current legal qualification and admission

- A proactive, positive and solutions-focused attitude

Hours: Full-time onsite (Mon–Fri, 9:30am–5:30pm)
