Hilton remains a family owned and run business and has built on our founders' vision, now operating from two modern manufacturing facilities, our main Headquarters and manufacturing plant in the South-East of Melbourne, located in Dandenong South Victoria, with over 20,000 sqm of under roof engineering, development, and manufacturing facilities. And our northern manufacturing facility of 4,000 sqm in the Southern-West region of Brisbane, located in Wacol Queensland.

Hilton supplies components, sub-assemblies and final products across a diverse range of industries. Our experience and expertise in all aspects of sheet metal manufacturing including the rolling, forming, bending, pressing, folding, CNC router, machining, welding and polishing of aluminum, mild steel and stainless steel.

We are accredited to internationally recognized standards ISO 9001 Quality, ISO 14001 Environmental and ISO 3834 – 2 Welding.

Purpose

We currently have fulltime position available for suitably qualified Welder to join our team!

As our Welder, you will be responsible for cutting and joining metals and other materials at our facilities or construction sites. You will be working with the latest technology and equipment to put together mechanical structures or parts with a great deal of precision.

Key Accountabilities

To be considered for this role you will need to meet the following criteria:

- TIG welding experience with aluminum, stainless steel, and mild steel in a manufacturing setting

- Minimum 1-2 years of TIG welding experience in a manufacturing environment

- Demonstrated experience with aluminium welding is essential

- Possess a passion for a high standard of work and quality.

- Commitment to safe working practices and environment

- Be physically fit and capable of manual handling.

- Be able to work individually and as part of a team.

- Be committed and enthusiastic.

- Available to start ASAP.

Qualifications and Experience

- Metal fabrication, boilermaker, or vehicle body building experience

- TIG welding experience in a manufacturing environment

- Ability to read and interpret drawings and job specifications.

- Current drivers' license and reliable transport

- Ability to identify and resolve mechanical problems.

- Understanding of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 quality systems
