Six Degrees Albany is seeking a reliable and hands-on Maintenance + Groundskeeper to join our team on a casual basis. Working approximately three days per week, the role involves maintaining the venue’s spaces ensuring a safe and welcoming environment, and supporting general maintenance needs across all three venues.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Perform regular landscaping, gardening and grounds maintenance.

- Trim hedges, weed gardens and maintain indoor and outdoor areas.

- Ensure all green spaces are presented to a high standard.

- Conduct basic repairs and maintenance tasks around all three venues.

- Support seasonal upkeep, painting and minor building repairs.

- Report major repair or safety issues to Operations Management promptly.

- Safely operate gardening and power tools.

- Conduct routine checks and basic maintenance of equipment.





- Follow OH&S; practices and ensure tools are used efficiently and safely.

- Assist venue management with maintenance related tasks.

- Ensure outdoor seating and guest areas are safe and well-presented.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

- Proven experience in landscaping, gardening or property maintenance.

- Open driver’s licence.

- Demonstrated ability to use gardening and power tools safely and effectively.

- Knowledge of safe work practices and OH&S; requirements.

- Strong time management and ability to work independently.

- Reliability and attention to detail.
