Business Development Manager - Capital Sales
Zoomlion Australia & New Zealand is part of a global leader in heavy equipment and Access Work Platforms (AWP), providing cutting-edge solutions to the construction, mining, and industrial sectors. We are expanding our presence in Victoria and are looking for a dynamic Business Development Manager to drive growth and strengthen client relationships.
The Role
As a Business Development Manager, you will lead the development of new business opportunities, manage key accounts, and collaborate with our teams to deliver tailored AWP solutions. You will be a key driver in growing Zoomlion’s market share across Melbourne and Victoria.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and secure new business opportunities in construction, mining, and industrial markets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, project managers, and clients.
- Develop and present proposals, quotations, and business solutions.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure timely and productive service delivery.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities.
- Contribute to strategic sales planning and revenue growth targets.
About You
- Proven experience in business development or sales within the AWP, construction, or heavy equipment industry.
- Strong existing network within Melbourne and Victorian markets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Results-driven, proactive, and self-motivated.
- Willingness to travel within Victoria and potentially New Zealand as needed.
