Job Description
About the role
As the Finance Manager you will be responsible for providing leadership and management to the Team Leader – Payroll & Finance, and Team Leader – Plan Management. You will also provide support to the Chief Financial Officer to ensure the efficient and effective financial management of CCPC.
The role is a hybrid role working 1 day a week in the office.
You will be required to undertake a range of tasks including but not limited to the following:
- Prepare monthly management reports for each program including commentary on budget variances.
- Ensure all accounts functions are completed accurately and on time, including all month end processes, reconciliations and lodgement of statutory returns.
- Consult with the Leadership team regarding budgets and monthly financial performance.
- Develop relationships with key external stakeholders regarding Insurances, Financial Audits and Treasury functions to achieve the financial goals and requirements of CCPC.
- Complete the end of month processes for NDIS including error identification, correction and claiming.
- Work closely with the Chief Financial Officer to develop annual financial budgets.
Desired Skills and Experience
Key Selection Criteria
- Relevant tertiary qualification, e.g., Degree in Accounting, or equivalent.
- Certified Practising Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Accountant (CA) membership.
- Previous experience in a similar position leading and managing teams.
- Experience in NDIS sector highly regarded.
- Exceptional organisational ability to manage multiple tasks, set priorities, multi-task, and work to tight deadlines.
- Demonstrated high level of discretion and sensitivity when dealing with confidential matters.
- A valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) and aCriminal Record Check (CRC) issued within the last 12 months that includes working with vulnerable groups
- A valid NDIS Worker Check (NDISWC) to be obtained and maintained at your own expense
