Blenners Transport is seeking a Full-time Payroll Specialist to join our finance team at the Brisbane (Darra) depot. This role manages end-to-end payroll operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and exceptional support for staff in a quick-paced transport environment.
Position Requirements
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
- Intermediate or above Microsoft excel skills (must include formulas and report formatting).
- Modern award knowledge will be highly regarded.
- Micropay Payroll System and high-volume payroll experience will be an advantage.

Key Responsibilities
- End to end processing of weekly payroll.
- Updating and maintaining payroll records.
- Liaising with staff on payroll related queries.
- Prepare and review daily payroll reports.
- Review, edit and import face scanner timesheets into Meridian.
- Prepare and lodge various reports according to accounting and legislative requirements.
- Calculate and process payroll adjustments, terminations and complete ad-hoc payments.
- Interpret employment contracts, policies, awards and relevant Fair Work provisions.
- Ensure employee records such as deductions, leave entitlements, severance are kept accurate and up to date.
