As the major paving manufacturer and contractor to Local Government, trade builders, retail and civil sectors in South Australia our Landscaping and Services division has seen substantial and consistent growth.

Best is now seeking a qualified landscaper for our services division.

You would have experience in hard & soft-landscaping, civil and or building works. This is a fantastic role for an experienced landscaper to apply their knowledge to our civil and landscape projects. We can assist with further training and support for a Building Supervisor's license if required.

You will provide on-site coordination and expertise to ensure the efficient completion of paving and landscape works to plans and specifications.

You will work with our Project Managers, Contracts Administrator, Civil Engineer and install teams.

Duties include the following:

- Landscape construction, supervise a variety of tasks including site preparation, planting, paving, lawn installation and irrigation setup to bring project designs to life.

- Ensuring that all safety procedures are followed on site.

- Coordinating with other team members to schedule work activities and track progress.

- Maintaining records of work performed on each project including expenses and materials used.

- Clean work areas, tools or equipment, to maintain a clean and safe job site.

- Perform site clean-up and restoration.





- Assist equipment operators and other skilled labour if and when necessary.

Skill Requirements:

- Qualification: Hold a Certificate III in Landscape Construction or equivalent qualification or work based experience. Building Supervisor licence - landscaping, brick laying, paving etc preferred.

- Experience: 3-5 years of hands-on experience in landscape construction to contribute effectively to projects.

- Technical skills: Demonstrate competence in various landscape construction tasks and the ability to read and follow plans accurately. Sound knowledge of building products and industry requirements

- Driver's Licence: Current car licence required for this position.

- Safety-conscious: Hold a White Card and prioritise workplace health and safety in all aspects of your work.

- Communication skills: Exhibit above par communication skills to interact effectively with team members, clients, and contractors.
