We’re looking for a motivated person to take ownership of a brand-new project: building a comprehensive Australian sport grants spreadsheet from the ground up.
This internship is ideal for someone who loves organising information, digging into details, and creating something clean, logical, and genuinely useful for real sporting organisations.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Researching local, state, and federal sport grants across Australia
- Building and structuring a master grants spreadsheet (categories, dates, criteria, funding ranges, links, notes, and more)
- Creating filters, formatting, and automations to make the spreadsheet intuitive and easy to update
- Summarising key grant information clearly and accurately
- Working closely with us to refine and evolve the final product
Who We’re Looking For
- A current university student (any discipline - sport, business, comms, or data are a bonus)
- Strong Excel skills (formulas, sorting, filtering, formatting)
- Someone who likes taking a project from 0 to finished product with creativity and initiative
- Ability to research accurately and independently
- An interest in how sport grants and funding work in Australia
- Strong attention to detail and ability to structure information simply and clearly
