About the Role:
Are you ready to step into a leadership role and make an impact?
We’re seeking a confident and organised Acting Practice Manager to lead the Coomera Family Dental team. This full-time role involves overseeing daily operations, supporting the team, and ensuring a smooth, professional and patient-focused clinic experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage daily practice operations to ensure smooth scheduling and patient flow
Oversee billing, stock control, and reporting within approved budgets
Maintain compliance with WHS, infection control, and privacy standards
Supervise, support, and develop staff across all levels
Facilitate the End of Month process
Manage and maintain the staff roster to ensure effective clinic coverage
Handle patient feedback and ensure a consistently high-quality experience
Act as liaison between the practice, management, and clinicians
Identify opportunities for operational and service improvement
About You:
Minimum 3 years’ experience in dental or medical practice management
Skilled in leadership, communication, and staff coordination
Financially literate with sound administrative and reporting ability
Solid understanding of dental software (Oasis)
Knowledge of compliance standards including WHS, infection control, and privacy
Calm, organised, and professional under pressure
Desirable:
Certificate III or Diploma in Practice Management or Business Administration
5+ years’ experience in a senior (Level 5+) support or management role
