We are a progressive and busy hospital, growing by word of mouth with a large team comprising of Veterinarians, Nurses, Animal Attendants and Administrative Staff.
The Opportunity
We are currently looking for our next star Veterinary Nurse to join our team on full time basis (we can be adaptable for the right person!). As a Vet Nurse with Tuggeranong Veterinary Hospital, you are actively involved in supporting our Vets with patient care and consults, and with shifts rotating between surgery, hospital, consults and reception – no two days are the same!
To be successful for this position, you will have:
A Cert IV Vet Nursing is preferred (but not essential!).
Previous experience as a Vet Nurse.
An empathetic, caring nurse that always advocates for their patients.
Exceptional communication skills to build relationships with our clients.
An eye for detail, a good work ethic and a willingness to keep learning and improving both themselves and the practice.
