GLEAM GROUP PTY LTD trading as May.D Painting provides painting services for clients mainly located in Brisbane and Gold Coast. May.D Painting offers professional and high-quality painting services tailored to meet the unique needs of our clients. We are seeking an additional painter to join our highly skilled team to work with us in upcoming projects.

To be considered for this role you must have:

· Certificate III in Painting and Decorating or at least 3 years of experience in painting

· At least one year of relevant experience in industry in similar position.

· You must be an Australian Citizen/Permanent resident or have legal working rights in Australia.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Responsibilities
Prepare surfaces for finishing by cleaning, repairing, and priming.
Apply paints, varnishes, and wallpapers to enhance and protect surfaces.
Ensure a safe and orderly work workplace.
Perform minor repairs and installations

Main Tasks




Setting up scaffolding and ladders, and covering nearby areas with drop cloths to prevent paint splatters.
Stripping away old paint and wallpaper to prepare surfaces for painting, repairing woodwork, and filling in imperfections to smooth and seal surface.
Mixing and preparing paint formulations with pigment and oils to achieve the desired colour and texture.
Using brushes, rollers, and spray guns to apply paint, varnish, and other coatings evenly on surfaces.
Cutting, aligning, and hanging wallpaper, ensuring patterns are matched and edges are neat.
Cleaning and maintaining painting tools and ensuring the workspace is orderly.
Repairing or replacing window frames and glass and performing other minor maintenance tasks.

Salary - $80,000 per annum + Super
