Position Overview
We are currently seeking a male support worker with an African background to support one of our participants during weekly community access near Carlingford.
About the Role:
The support worker will be required to:
Accompany and support the participant during soccer sessions every Friday
Provide encouragement, safety supervision, and social engagement
Assist with transport (if required)
Maintain a positive, friendly, and culturally sensitive approach
Follow organisational policies and uphold qualified boundaries
Requirements:
Previous experience in disability or community services (preferred)
Valid WWCC, Police Check, and First Aid/CPR
NDIS Worker Screening Check
Driver’s licence and reliable vehicle (desirable)
Ability to build rapport and encourage participation
Must be available every Friday from 1 PM to 5 PM
