A piano tutor is required for lessons in our Hornsby and Epping Studios. We want students to develop a lifelong interest in music so tutors need to be able to teach in a fun and engaging way.
Most lessons are private 1:1, but we do have some small group classes too.
Our ideal tutor will have:
Experience teaching children and adults - both beginner and also AMEB exams
WWCC and ABN
knowledge of a range of styles and techniques
availability during evenings and/or weekends
the ability to teach other instruments is a plus, but not required
There may also be the option for some lessons to take place remotely (online) or at your home or student homes, but the majority of lessons will be at the Hornsby and Epping studio.
Job Type: Casual
Pay: $30.00 – $49.00 per hour
Ability to commute/relocate:
Hornsby NSW 2077: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
Experience:
Teaching: 1 year (Preferred)
Licence/Certification:
Working with Children Check (Preferred)
Driver Licence (Preferred)
Work Authorisation:
Australia (Preferred)
