We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Apprentice Chef to join our kitchen brigade. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is enthusiastic about building a long-term career in the culinary industry and eager to learn in a fast-paced, supportive environment.
About the Role:
As an Apprentice Chef, you will work closely with our experienced chefs to develop and refine your culinary skills. You will assist with food preparation, maintain a clean and organised kitchen, follow food safety standards, and contribute to the creation of high-quality dishes for our guests.
What We’re Looking For:
A genuine passion for cooking and the hospitality industry
Robust willingness to learn and take direction
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting
Good time-management and organisational skills
Reliable, punctual, and committed to completing your apprenticeship
Basic understanding of kitchen safety and hygiene standards (preferred but not essential)
Responsibilities Include:
Assisting chefs with daily preparation and service
Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of work areas
Learning and practicing cooking techniques and kitchen procedures
Ensuring all tasks comply with WHS and food safety regulations
Contributing positively to team culture and kitchen efficiency
