Tasks & responsibilities
Bayleaf cafe and dessert is a popular local café and restaurant in wagga wagga, known for its fresh meals, desserts, breakfast and friendly community vibe. We’re looking for an experienced Cafe/Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations, lead our front and back-of-house teams, maintain high service standards, and support the smooth running of breakfast, lunch, and takeaway service. Key Responsibilities:
· Oversee day-to-day operations to ensure efficiency and quality service
· Working with Chefs to plan and update menus.
· Maintain accurate records of stock and transactions while managing budgets effectively.
· Engaging with customers to evaluate their satisfaction and address any concerns about meals or service.
· Ensure adherence to workplace safety, hygiene, and food industry regulations.
· Manage all employees, including their training, performance development, and ongoing occupational growth.
· Developing and implementing plans to improve sales performance, profitability, and staff capability.
· Participate in business planning, including budgeting, forecasting, and development of operational strategies.
· Staff hiring, training and rostering
Job Types: Full time, Permanent
Pay: $77,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
