We require an experienced individual to install, test & commission fibre optic and hybrid fibre copper (HFC) network devices and optic fibre in an active & passive network. The candidate should have very valuable knowledge in fibre to the premises project. Candidate shall have knowledge of CCTV systems as well. This is a full time job.
The candidate must have the following skills:
Coordinating with client design team and finalising the designs.
Examine drawings, specifications and work areas to determine positioning and connections for equipment to be installed.
Schedule network outages wherever required, and manage the roll out.
Install, test, troubleshoot, and commission Multiports, BJL, FJL, etc. in the Fibre network.
Install & program CCTV cameras, DVR, NVR, & mobile apps.
Applying knowledge of electronic and HFC network standards.
Maintain records and provide reporting where required.
Assist in responding to emergency work to meet WHS requirements, that arises during, and after hours, where required.
Help teams working on Telstra pit & pipe, manholes, and aerial jobs.
Work in a team workplace and pro-actively organize and delegate work.
Main Tasks:
Organize and execute jobs as per the NBN schedules & standards.
Prepare the documents required to close the jobs, and close the jobs on time.
Ensure that the work completed is as per the general industry and client’s standards.
Maintain site documents.
Coordinate between client’s supervisor(s), end users, and Multimode project team.
Minimum two years of experience in Fibre Optic and Mixed network installation & commissioning
Work effectively in a team workplace
Salary: $55,000.00 to $57,000.00 /year

Licence:
Valid Driver's License
