Description:
As a Respite Carer at Coolibah,
you’ll play a vital role in delivering compassionate, person-centred care to our clients during their stay at our welcoming respite cottage. You’ll ensure each individual has the best day possible by supporting their independence, dignity, and well-being in line with their care plans and personal goals.
This is a temporary role to cover Parental Leave role with the following shifts
Week 1 - 7am to 2pm Friday, Monday and Tuesday
Week 2 - 2pm to 8pm Friday and Sunday, 7am to 2pm Monday and Tuesday
What you'll be doing
Provide personal care, mobility support, social engagement, and medication assistance.
Promote independence and wellness through goal-directed care.
Maintain accurate documentation and uphold client confidentiality.
Ensure a clean, protected, and homely environment for all clients.
Support continuous improvement and uphold Aged Care Quality Standards.
What you need to be successful in this position:
Minimum qualification of Certificate 3 in Aged Care or Individual Support (Ageing).
Experience in Aged care and personal care delivery
Ability to work independently and handle manual tasks safely
Robust communication and teamwork skills
