Academic Coordinator

Australian Technical College Western Australia (ATCWA) is a growing CRICOS training provider delivering quality vocational education and training to international students. With a student‑first approach and a collaborative team environment, we aim to create an engaging and compliant learning experience.

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Academic Coordinator to lead and support our training operations. This role is critical in ensuring our training and assessment practices meet the RTO standards while providing academic leadership to trainers, assessors and support to students.

Key Responsibilities
Oversee the day‑to‑day coordination of training delivery across all qualifications.
Ensure compliance with RTO and CRICOS standards, including the monitoring of training and assessment strategies.
Support trainers and assessors with session planning, resource allocation, and professional development.
Conduct class observations, validation and moderation sessions.
Coordinate timetables, trainer allocations, and student academic support.
Liaise with the academic and compliance teams to ensure quality and continuous improvement.




Provide support during audits and external compliance reviews.
Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122 or TAE40116 or equivalent).
Relevant qualifications in one or more areas offered by ATCWA.
Demonstrated experience in a similar role within an RTO/CRICOS workplace.
Solid understanding of the Revised Standards for RTOs 2025 and National Code of Practice for Providers of Education and Training to Overseas Students 2018.
Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with trainers, students, and administration teams.
Experience with student management systems (preferably RTO Manager) and Learning Management Systems (such as Moodle).
Knowledge of ASQA regulatory processes and compliance audits.
