Press Food & Wine is on the hunt for talented, motivated chefs to join our kitchen team. We’re looking for a Sous Chef ready to take on a leadership role, as well as a skilled Chef de Partie & Commis who thrives in a quick‑paced, creative environment.

Immediate start
Sous Chef responsibilities
Minimum 2 years experience as a sous chef.
Support the Head Chef in leading the kitchen team.
Drive quality, consistency, and creativity.
Contribute to menu development and kitchen operations.
Mentor and train junior chefs.
CDP
Confidently run your own section with precision and efficiency.
Deliver dishes to the highest standard, every time.
Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth service.
Grow your skills and develop towards senior roles.
Commis
Must have cert III & willing to learn. Support senior chefs, food preparation, presentation, and kitchen operations. Receiving deliveries, storing ingredients properly, and rotating stock.
What we’re looking for
Proven experience in a similar role (minimum 2 years in a reputable, established restaurant preferred).
Passion for great food, fresh produce, and attention to detail.
Robust teamwork, communication, and time management skills.
A positive, professional attitude.
