Overview
Job Summary: As the Production Manager at PJ Fitzpatrick, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the exterior home improvement process, including siding, roofing, and window installations. This role involves coordinating the workflow, managing installation teams, and ensuring projects are executed efficiently, on time, and to the company's high standards of quality. You will work closely with other departments to ensure excellent customer satisfaction and optimal resource utilization.
Responsibilities
Oversee daily operations of exterior remodeling projects and ensure adherence to schedules.
Manage, train, and mentor production teams to achieve quality control and safety standards.
Coordinate material procurement and logistics to ensure timely project completion.
Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with established quality and safety standards.
Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to communicate project updates and manage customer expectations.
Implement best practices to improve production efficiency and reduce costs.
Address any issues that arise during the installation process and implement corrective actions.
Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of experience in production management, particularly in exterior remodeling or construction.
Robust leadership and team management skills.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
In-depth knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and industry best practices.
Proficiency in project management software and tools.
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift heavy materials and manage physical activity associated with construction projects.
Willingness to work in various weather conditions and on construction sites.
