About the Role
Lead a team responsible for statutory reporting and the audit committee papers process for the Group.
Act as a key technical advisor, regularly consulted by senior stakeholders on governance matters and commercial transactions.
Provide expert assessment of potential deals and contracts, challenging and advising to achieve the most commercially advantageous outcomes for the Group.
Interact frequently with the most senior leaders, offering technical accounting expertise and strategic input.
Navigate complex stakeholder relationships, often needing to push back and influence outcomes while maintaining trust and credibility.
Demonstrate empathetic,
authentic leadership for a team experiencing ongoing change, fostering resilience and engagement.
About You
CA / CPA qualified, with extensive experience in statutory reporting, technical accounting, and audit processes within large, complex organisations (ideally infrastructure or related sectors).
Demonstrated ability to lead high-performing teams and manage change with empathy and authenticity.
Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills, with a track record of advising senior executives and boards.
Deep technical expertise, able to challenge and guide commercial decisions for optimal outcomes.
Proven success operating at pace, managing multiple priorities, and delivering results in a high-profile workplace.
