The role: Based at our Mile End office, the part‑time, 6‑month contract Accounts Payable Officer supports the accounts payable function, ensuring timely payment of creditors and handling related administrative tasks.
What you’ll do
High volume data entry of invoices
Allocation and processing of creditor invoices
Ensure timely and accurate entry of approved invoices to correct account codes
Review communication via the accounts payable team mailbox
Filing, archiving, reporting and document control
Create, maintain and reconcile creditors
Adhere to and maintain strong process controls
Vendor statement reconciliation and review
About you
Knowledge of accounts payable functions and processes
Strong Microsoft Office and financial system skills
High accuracy and attention to detail
Excellent interpersonal, communication and problem‑solving skills
Cooperative, supportive team player
Passionate about supporting older people to live a Good Life
APS Police Check for aged care less than 12 months old
Previous experience in home care service support or other community services
