A leading international engineering, construction, and project management firm operating across infrastructure, energy, mining and transport is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to join its fast growing Sydney-based legal team.

Position Description
Reporting to the Head of Legal Australia , you will work closely with other senior in‑house counsel and business leaders across Australia and Asia Pacific. The role will support a diverse portfolio of public infrastructure, renewables, clean power, and heavy civil projects .
Responsibilities
Provide leadership on legal and commercial issues relating to projects and prospects across the Asia Pacific region.
Structure, prepare, negotiate, and conclude transactions in collaboration with commercial and project teams.
Ensure compliance with internal governance, policies, and protocols.
Work autonomously on complex, high‑value transactions.
Ideal Candidate
10+ years’ post‑qualification experience in construction and infrastructure law, gained within a leading law firm and/or major EPC or project delivery organisation.
Robust technical construction law skill set encompassing contract drafting, negotiation, and advisory work.
Current Australian practising certificate.
Proven ability to manage complex, multi‑party transactions with a commercial and solutions‑focused mindset.
A cooperative and proactive approach, thriving in a lean and high‑performing team.
