About the role
As Store Manager for the Peries IGA Supermarket Group' in Edmonton, QLD 4869, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations and management of a busy supermarket. What you'll be doing
Managing and motivating a team of customer service, inventory, and sales staff
Overseeing all store operations, including inventory management, merchandising, and loss prevention
Analysing sales data and implementing strategies to drive revenue growth and profitability
Ensuring the store meets all health, safety, and regulatory requirements
Fostering a positive and customer-focused store environment
Collaborating with the regional management team to achieve overall business objectives
What we're looking for
Significant experience (5+ years) in a retail store management role, preferably within the grocery/supermarket industry
Robust leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
Excellent customer service orientation and problem-solving abilities
Proficient in inventory management, data analysis, and financial reporting
Adaptable, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and constantly changing retail environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
