About the role
We are seeking a Welder to join our growing steel erection team at Strangio Structural Steel. As a Structural Steel Erector, you will be responsible for erecting high-quality structural steel projects for a variety of construction projects. This full-time position is an excellent chance to contribute your welding expertise to the success of our company.
What you'll be doing
Erecting structural steel projects including welding to assemble steel components
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and blueprints to ensure accurate and precise welding
Maintaining and operating welding equipment in a safe and efficient manner
Collaborating with the project team to resolve any welding-related issues that may arise
Adhering to all relevant safety regulations and company policies
What we're looking for
Certified Welder with a minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role
Proficiency in MIG, TIG,
and Stick welding techniques
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Team-oriented mindset and robust communication skills
Knowledge of relevant safety regulations and best practices
