The Position
Working within the SunRice Grower Services division, you will join an industry leading team working with growers across the Riverina to adopt and embed best practices into their farming businesses. Based in their Leeton offices, you will be responsible for linking growers across the Northern Riverina with research from across the industry on productive and sustainable farming.
You will focus on developing business advisory relationships with growers, looking to provide recommendations on farming techniques and varieties, well supported by the broader SunRice business units.
The Person
The suitable candidate will have experience working in extension with growers, ideally with an agronomy or technical degree. Experience with rice is welcome however not mandatory, as exceptional training and support will be offered, so agronomy experience in cotton, horticultural or other grower industries would be suitable. You will have exceptional communication skills, a robust passion for the Australian agribusiness sector and enjoy working as part of an industry leading team.
