Overview The Parole Board Queensland is seeking Community Board Members to bring a community perspective to the parole decision-making process. Appointments are made under the Corrective Services Act 2006 and are made for a period of not more than three years. Community Board Members are engaged on an 'as needed' basis.
Responsibilities & Role Expectations Our Community Board Members represent the diversity of our Queensland community and we encourage applications from culturally, socially and geographically diverse backgrounds.
Parole Board meetings are held in Brisbane, although provision may be made for appropriate remote working arrangements.
Qualifications
Sound judgement and critical thinking skills
Solid communication skills
Capability to utilise technology
Team-oriented mindset to deliver the functions of the parole board
Positive contribution to the decision-making process of the Board
