Paraway Pastoral Company is seeking a motivated Station Hand to join our team at Newstead Station near Inverell in the Recent England region of NSW.
Paraway Pastoral Company owns and operates over 4.4 million hectares of cattle and sheep stations across eastern Australia. We are passionate about progressive agriculture and providing protected rewarding workplaces for our people.
About the role
As a Station Hand you’ll be involved in all aspects of day-to-day station life. This includes handling and caring for cattle from mustering to drafting, maintaining fences, water points and general infrastructure, and operating vehicles, bikes and machinery safely.
You’ll also support pasture management and basic record keeping while working closely with a small team to get the job done.
What you’ll bring
Experience with cattle operations and working dogs
Understanding of grazing and pasture management
Competence in operating farm machinery
A current manual driver's licence
A safety‑first approach and willingness to learn
Team spirit – reliable, respectful and supportive of others
Attention to detail and pride in your work
(First Aid, AgVet, Chemical and other tickets are an advantage)
