PIMS Group are now recruiting a Maintenance Plumber to support our Town Services Project in Central Queensland.
About the Role
Based in Tieri, you will play a key role in maintaining plumbing systems for residential and commercial facilities within the township. You’ll deliver quality plumbing solutions with a focus on safety and compliance.
Diagnosing and resolving plumbing issues (leaks, blockages, fixture installations)
Routine maintenance, inspections, and system checks
Gas fitting and repairs (where qualified - not essential)
Ensuring all work is completed to Australian Plumbing Standards
Ensuring and maintaining a safe, clean, and compliant work workplace
9 Day fortnight roster – week 1 (Mon to Fri, 1pm finish on Fri) and week 2 (Mon to Thurs, 4.30pm finish on Thurs)
About Tieri
Applicants are strongly encouraged to relocate to the Township of Tieri (1 hour North‑east of Emerald).
Accommodation options: camp accommodation, share house accommodation, or own house under a general tenancy agreement (rent heavily subsidised).
Great local primary school, with secondary school options at Capella and Emerald.
Safest town in QLD.

The Successful Candidate
Australian recognised trade qualification (Certificate III in Plumbing)
Occupational Plumber and Drainage Licence (QLD)
General Safety Induction (Construction Industry White Card)
Valid Manual Driver’s Licence
Gas Work Licence Type A (QLD) (desirable)
Work Safely at Height (RIIWHS204D) (desirable)
Commission and Maintain Backflow Prevention Devices Certificate CPCPWT4022A (desirable)
Minimum 2 years of plumbing experience (residential, commercial, or industrial)
Maintenance plumbing and roofing experience (essential)
Robust problem solving skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and a strong customer focus
Ability to work independently and within a team
A strong understanding of WHS standards and secure work methods
Full Australian working rights or permanent residency
