Job Description
We are working with a significant NSW organisation, that is now seeking a senior level environment and planning lawyer for an initial 6 month period, with the potential for this contract to be extended.
The focus of this role will be providing legal support on environmental & planning law, compulsory acquisitions, contaminated land and native title. You will be involved in large scale infrastructure projects, advise on planning instruments, disputes in the land & setting court, pollution, impact statements, community and stakeholder engagement projects,
as well as providing general legal support in this area.
Qualifications
Excellent communication and management skills
Experience in environment and planning law
Experience in a reputable private practice or In‑house environment
A problem‑solving and commercial mindset
The ability to work in a highly collaborative fast‑paced environment
High attention to detail and excellent communication skills
Commitment to providing outstanding client service
