We have built a national reputation for service quality in our purpose-built workshops, with our onsite service vans and our Authorised Parts & Service Agents throughout the country, as well as timely parts delivery anywhere across the Nation.
We are currently seeking a versatile Transport Co-Ordinator who thrives in a high-volume setting. This role will be very hands on, and yours to grow.
The Job will involve;
Organising delivery and pick up runs maximising truck utilisation.
Liaising with sales, customer service and customers directly
Entering transport contracts
Negotiating subcontract transport rates
Estimating delivery and pick up costs
Weekly and Monthly reporting
Working with company ERP
Working within HVIS standards and working hours legislation
Monitoring and organising truck fleet maintenance
This is a pivotal role within our business and accordingly the successful candidate must have –
Demonstrated experience with multitasking & working under pressure.
High level of planning and organisational skills.
Be able to make quick effective decisions and be a sound problem solver.
Competence in all forms of communication with colleagues, clients, suppliers & drivers.
Initiative to provide support with general admin duties where needed.
Sound knowledge of Microsoft
Previous experience with logistics and/or elevated work platforms will be highly regarded.
HR or HC licence an advantage, but not mandatory.
