Your role The Future Pathways program is an cutting-edge approach built on practice elements such as motivational interviewing, communication skills building and goal setting to respond to identified needs and achieve real and demonstrable outcomes.
Working collaboratively, the team seek to address key intersectionality issues with families, children and young people (e.g. substance use, mental illness, low income, social isolation) as identified by each regional FPR Response.
The program will equip parents with a greater knowledge about their children’s development
Assist in developing parenting strategies they can use to the best meet the development needs.
The program aims to strengthen parenting capacity to ensure child health, safety and developmental outcomes are being met.
About you
Experience working with high needs complex families
Using a child focused family centered approach
Understanding theoretical approaches (i.e. motivational interviewing and social inclusion)
Knowledge of evidence based interventions
Experience conducting risk and needs assessments
The ability to perform work outside of standard office hours to service the needs of clients
What you should know
Salary offers start at around $102,554 plus super plus salary packaging (Level 6 SCHCADS)
Negotiable through the increments dependent upon experience
Office location : Frankston
A fixed term contract to May 31st 2024.
