We are exclusively recruiting on behalf of a major national technology firm based in Seven Hills that specializes in the design and production of high-quality, specialized electrical and mechanical equipment.
We are seeking a proactive and skilled Manufacturing Technician to join their assembly and production workshop. This is a hands‑on role critical to maintaining the quality and speed of their operations.
The Day-to-Day Role
Your primary responsibilities will involve precision work with low‑voltage technology:
Precision assembly, wiring, and modification of low‑voltage electrical components, remote sensors, and power systems (solar/DC).
Conducting testing, fault‑finding, and repairs on manufactured goods to ensure high standards.
Assisting the manufacturing team with inventory management, stock movement, and general warehouse activities.
Maintaining a robust commitment to quality craftsmanship and workshop safety.
Required Skills & Experience
To excel in this manufacturing role, you should possess:
Some prior experience in mechanical assembly, electrical wiring, and/or a related general technical trade.
A general level of physical fitness and practical ability with power and hand tools.
Excellent ability to work in a team, achieve government clearances and ideally have or obtain a forklift license prior to starting work.
