About the role We are seeking a solicitor or senior associate to join our leading Brisbane Insurance team, working with Patrick Cavanagh, Partner.
Responsibilities
Providing advice on indemnity with respect to claims on professional indemnity policies of insurance in relation to personal injuries
Providing advice on indemnity with respect to occupational regulation matters and investigations (including coronial inquests and investigations) of professionals (including allied health professionals)
Acting as defence counsel in relation to personal injury claims, occupational regulation and investigations for professionals (including allied health professionals)
Qualifications
4+ years' PQE with experience in skilled indemnity matters
A desire to be an integral member of a robust and cohesive team who work together
Strong attention to detail
Practical and client focused problem solving and research skills
Ability to manage client expectations and run matters autonomously
Interested in establishing a long-term successful career with Colin Biggers & Paisley
Commercial acumen
A strong, plain language communication style
