Job Title: Casual Processing Labourers
About the Role:
An exciting opportunity for Casual meat process workers/labourers currently exists at our Scone plant. The hourly rate is $30.47 as per the Scone Enterprise Agreement 2023. This is a 38 hour week with around 600 employees. Located about 283kms north of Sydney, 150kms north of Newcastle. JBS Scone is a well‑known Meat Processing Facility.
We are seeking passionate, energetic individuals who are committed to safety, productivity and are after a long‑term career in the meat industry.
Entry level responsibilities:
Packing or sorting of meat
Stacking cartons onto pallets
Moving products
Possibility of upskilling:
Bandsaw
Operating of machinery / forklift driving
About you:
Ability to work in a repetitive and fast paced workplace
Willing to undergo Q Fever Vaccination,
or have completed Q Fever Vaccination
Reliable and punctual
Must have full working rights
Own reliable transport to and from work
Ability to work effectively in a team setting
Residing in the local area will be highly regarded
