About the Opportunity
Permanent Instructional Coach
Commencing Term 1, 2026
Located in Rydalmere, St Mary's Primary is a co‑educational Catholic school committed to providing a comprehensive education from Kindergarten to Year 6. We offer a balanced and caring learning workplace focused on the needs of each child.
We are looking for a passionate Instructional Coach to foster collaborative leadership and evidence‑based practices. In this role, you will be crucial in developing our teachers' professional skills to maximise their impact on student learning. This position attracts two coordinator points.
Responsibilities
You will work closely with the leadership team and teachers to:
Provide in‑situ support to K‑2 teachers through co‑planning, co‑teaching, modeling, and providing explicit feedback.
Collaborate with teachers and leaders to analyse data, identify trends, and determine next steps for student and teacher learning.
Implement and evaluate the school's improvement plans, focusing on enhancing literacy and numeracy outcomes in K‑2.
Facilitate skilled learning sessions and participate in co‑teaching and modeling within K‑2 literacy and numeracy blocks.
