About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Distribution Manager to lead and manage our QLD warehouse and distribution operations. This pivotal role ensures efficient, compliant, and customer-focused delivery across the state. You’ll oversee a dedicated team and drive best practices in safety, inventory management, and operational performance.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and motivate a team including warehouse operators, customer service, and admin staff.
Ensure OH&S; compliance and champion safety initiatives.
Optimize distribution and fleet operations for cost-effectiveness.
Manage inventory accuracy through cycle counts and stock takes.
Drive continuous improvement and embed best practices.
Deliver exceptional service to internal and external stakeholders.
Recruit, train, and develop team members, fostering a strong culture.
About You
Minimum 5 years’ experience in warehouse, logistics, and distribution management.
Proven leadership and change management skills.
Solid communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
OH&S; knowledge and unrestricted driver’s licence.
Forklift licence and MR truck licence (desirable).
Supply chain qualifications and automotive industry knowledge (advantageous).
