About the Role
Primo Foods are currently seeking experienced hygiene operatives to join our business on a full-time basis in Wacol, Brisbane. We are looking for people to join our team in an entry level hygiene operative position with career progression available for the right candidates.
As a hygiene operator you will be responsible for ensuring that the standards of hygiene and cleanliness are achieved daily before production start-up, whilst ensuring protected work practices are adhered to when using industrial cleaning equipment.
Responsibilities (include but not limited to):
Cleaning of factory floors, walls, work surfaces and production line equipment to set SOPs.
Ensuring the correct cleaning chemicals are used for the cleaning task as per the SOPs.
To work in a manner that promotes secure working practices for yourself and your colleagues.
Ensure that all PPE is worn and used at all times and all defects are reported to the Hygiene Supervisors.
About you:
Available to work Monday to Friday night shift 10pm to 6am
Experience within manufacturing or food processing environment is preferred
Be able to work with raw meat, specifically Pork products
Versatile, motivated and keen to learn
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical
