The Prospect
An established national law firm with a strong reputation for delivering first‑class legal advice to major commercial and government clients is seeking a motivated Paralegal to join its busy Banking & Finance team in Sydney.
This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a high‑performing group supporting a growing stream of private credit and lender‑focused work. The role would suit someone with prior experience in mortgage advances or front‑end finance matters. You'll work closely with senior practitioners on complex transactions while developing valuable skills in a supportive and collaborative environment.
The Role
In this position, you will:
Assist with a broad range of private lender and real estate finance transactions.
Prepare and draft loan and security documentation with accuracy and attention to detail.
Manage end‑to‑end settlements, primarily through PEXA.
Liaise with clients, lenders, and other parties to ensure smooth transaction coordination.
Maintain matter files, track key dates, and support lawyers with workflow management.
Provide proactive administrative and legal support to ensure seamless service delivery.
About You
Experience in banking and finance, mortgage, or property law (highly regarded).
Familiarity with PEXA and PPSR platforms and processes.
Solid organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in document preparation.
A proactive, client‑focused approach and commitment to delivering quality outcomes.
A genuine interest in developing your career within a leading national law firm.
