The Opportunity We looking for a Recruitment Officer to join our People and culture team in Hendra. This role is for a motivated internal recruiter who wishes to progress their career the mining, transport and logistic industry.

Full Time | Monday to Friday

Responsibilities

Working with Leadership Team to source suitable candidates

Source New Candidates using appropriate strategies (eg. head hunting, adverting, network and referrals)

Telephone Screening, and interviewing candidates face to face

Identifying shortlists for roles





Administration support through the recruitment and onboarding processes for both candidates and hiring managers

Onboarding on candidate including booking medicals, relevant courses and issuing Letters of Offer

Efficiently coordinate new starter pre-employment assessments and onboarding functions

CRM and database management within our recruitment system

Actioning recruitment and onboarding enquiries in a timely manner

General ad-hoc administration duties as required

Skills & Experience

2 Years’ experience in a similar role

Knowledge of Mining, Logistics. Transport industry desirable

Proven computer skills and experience using Microsoft Office suite

A high level of interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal)

Experience working in a fast-paced environment to meet transparent timelines

A recruiter who is most comfortable in a collaborative and team-orientated setting and prepared to support others
