JBS Scone is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced
Payroll Officer
to join our team, based at our
Scone Plant
located in the beautiful Upper Hunter Region.
This is an excellent prospect for a detail‑orientated qualified who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and is passionate about delivering accurate and productive payroll services.
Key Responsibilities (But not limited to):
Process weekly/fortnightly payroll for a large workforce
Maintain and update employee payroll records, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality
Interpret awards, enterprise agreements and legislation
Prepare payroll reports and support audits
Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to streamline processes
Handle payroll queries with professionalism and efficiency
About you:
Previous experience in payroll processing
Strong understanding of payroll legislation, taxation, superannuation and leave entitlements
High attention and accuracy in data entry and reporting
Proficiency in payroll systems (SAP and Kronos) and Microsoft Excel
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
A process‑driven mindset with a passion for continuous improvement
